Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve children's ability to recognize numbers through Modified Engklek Games in Iqra Islamic Kindergarten 'Kinali Pasaman Barat. This type of research used in this study is in the form of Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were 15 students in class B1 consisting of 11 boys and 4 girls. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews. Data obtained during learning is processed with percentage techniques. Learning outcomes in the first cycle through the game of crank modification has begun to increase, but have not reached optimal results and continued in the second cycle so that it can achieve results that exceed the Minimum completeness criteria, and experience a positive increase, then the game of modification crickets have succeeded in increasing the ability to recognize numbers in children in the Islamic Kindergarten Iqra 'Kinali, Pasaman Barat. The conclusion of this research is the game of cricket modification can improve the ability to recognize numbers of children in Islamic Kindergarten Iqra Kinali Pasaman Barat.
