Abstract

Researchers' findings on children's collaborative abilities have not yet developed optimally so that children's cooperative behavior is very low. Children play more individually and when given the task of doing activities with children often noisy and do not want to do activities together. The purpose of this study is to improve children's collaboration skills through the Minangkabau story in the Light Eye of West Pasaman Kindergarten. This type of research used in this study is the Classroom Action Research method. The subjects of this study were group B children in Nurul Haq Haq Sasak Kindergarten in the 2019/2020 academic year with a total of 18 children consisting of 6 boys and 12 girls. The procedure for carrying out this Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles of 3 meetings. Classroom action research consists of a series of four activities carried out in an iterative cycle. The four main activities that occur in each cycle are planning, acting, observing, reflecting. The results of the second cycle showed a very good development, where the success of the first aspect reached 93.3%, the second aspect amounted to 86.7% and the third aspect amounted to 80%. Based on the results of research and discussion that have been described above, to improve the ability of children's collaboration can be concluded Minang story activities can improve children's collaboration skills.
