PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW BERBANTUAN HANDOUT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS VIII DI SMP 7 PADANG

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation of cooperative learning model aided Handout Jigsaw against student learning outcomes in social studies in class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Padang. The approach used is quantitative approach shaped quasy experiment .. Population whole class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Padang consisting of 8 classes with the number of students219 and samples were taken with purposive sampling technique, VIII.5 grade students as an experimental class and class students VIII.6 as the control class. The research data is primary data about the results of social studies. The instrument used was an objective shaped test as many as 40 items. Having obtained data result of learning, the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results showed the average value of the experimental class students (VIII.5) 86.05 and the average value of the control class (VIII.6) 80.83. Based on t-test calculations obtained t 2.302 while t table at significant level α of 0.05 is 2.000. In comparison, the 2,302 t> t table 2.000.
