Abstract

The development of E-Modules in English subjects is carried out as an effort to address one of the issues at SD Negeri 05 Air Tawar Barat, namely the lack of textbooks for students to study independently. The presence of English E-Modules enables students to learn independently and can encourage critical thinking skills. Various interfaces of the E-Modules can facilitate students in understanding the material. This research uses the Research & Development (R&D) method with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Development is conducted using the LiveWorksheets platform. Material validity testing was carried out with English subject teachers and obtained a score of 96% with the category "Highly Valid". Media validity testing was conducted with 2 media experts and obtained a score of 100% by media expert I and 98.75% by media expert II, categorized as "Highly Suitable". Practicality testing was conducted with 27 fourth-grade students and obtained an average score of 95% with the category "Highly Practical".
