Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Video Animasi Menggunakan Aplikasi Powtoon Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Terpadu Kelas VII di SMP

Abstract
This research was conducted to produce learning animation video media. The tasks were analyzed the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, as well as a learning media in integrated science at SMPN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. The Research and Development (R&D) and Borg and Gall model was used as development research. The learning media development of Integrated Science used Powtoon Aplication. The product validity test was carried out by 4 validators; two material validators was from SMPN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam dan two media validators was from lecturers from FIP UNP, KTP Department. The product trial was conducted on 30 students grade VII of SMPN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam with the aim of knowing the level practicality and effectiveness of the product development. The development of learning animation video media was a result of the assessment of two material validators, obtained a “valid” category with a value of 4.8 and two media validators obtained a “valid”category with a a value of 4.84. the result of practicality test obtained the category of “good or practical” at a value of 4.84. whie the effectiveness test was conducted showed “t count > t table” so that it shows a significantly high difference between the pre-test and post-test. The results showed that this media was effective and could be used based on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the learning media, and it is suitable for using it in Integrated Science subject.
