Abstract
Education is a process of forming human character which is very important to improve intelligence, skills and competencies in accordance with identity and environmental conditions. Education needs to prepare humans to solve the problems of present and future life. Comics are a form of cartoon that expresses the shape of characters and presents a story in a sequence that is closely related to the image, with the aim of providing entertainment to the reader. This type of research is research and development. Research and development (R&D) is a research method used to manufacture a particular product and test the effectiveness of that product. The research was conducted in 5 stages according to the ADDIE model which consists of 5 main stages, namely analysis (Definition), design (Design), develop (development), implementation (Deployment), and evaluation (Evaluation). While the average score of the material validators is 4.91 and is categorized as "very valid. The average score for the assessment of digital comics using Paint Tool Sai on the theme of saving living creatures class VI by media validator I is 4.66 and media validator II is 4.92. It can be concluded that the learning multimedia developed from the media side is categorized as "very valid". save class VI living things with the subtheme My Plant My best friend is declared "very feasible" to be used in the learning process and improve the competence of students in learning.
