Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Canva pada Mata Pelajaran IPA kelas VIII SMP

Abstract
The development of learning media is motivated by the unavailability of learning media that can be used by students independently, which can help students who have difficulty in learning science subjects. This resulted in the low attention of students in the learning process. In addition, technological facilities are underutilized in the learning process in schools by teachers. The purpose of this research is to produce a valid and practical Canva-based learning media for science subjects for class VIII SMP. This type of research is development research. The development model used is the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMP N 6 Sawahlunto class VIII with 31 students as research subjects. Data collection uses a validation sheet consisting of a media validation sheet, material validation sheet, and a questionnaire given to students.Results Based on the feasibility test by the media validator and material validator, validation was obtained from material validator 1 and material validator 2 with an average of 4.86 categorized as "Very Valid". The result of material validation is 4.88 with a very valid category. The practicality test results obtained an average of 4.73 with the "Very Practical" category. The results of the validity and practicality tests carried out concluded that canvas-based learning media in science subjects class VIII was valid and practical to use in science subjects.
