Based on the problems found in class VII Indonesian at SMPN 6 Pariaman, it was found that there were learning problems that were still using the lecture method which was limited to textbooks and powerpoints which caused a lack of student skills. attention in0the0teaching0and learning0process. While0the0material presented only contains material in0the0form of text in the powerpoint media used and no audio or visual is used to attract students' attention during learning to increase learning motivation. The development of audio-visual media using Adobe Premiere CC 2017 in class VII SMP Bahasa Indonesia is0an0effort0to overcome the lack of attention of students and0the lack of use of teaching media that only focuses on teachers, textbooks, and powerpoints that only contain text. This study aims to produce valid and practical audio-visual media products in accordance with the eligibility criteria for media and materials in class VII Indonesian Junior High School.
The0type0of0research0used0is0Research0and0Development0(R&D)0research0using the ADDIE model. This model has 5 stages, namely: analysis, design, development, evaluation, and implementation. The0product validity test was carried out by 2 lecturers of Educational Technology experts as media validators and media experts for Javanese language teachers for class VII SMPN 6 Pariaman, then a practical test was conducted on 15 students of class VII.3 SMPN 6 Pariaman.
Based on the results of research on the development of audio-visual media in class VII SMP in Indonesia, it is explained that this development research procedure uses a 5-step0Research0and Development0(R&D)0development0model. This media0development method obtained the results of the product validity test on the material aspect reaching "Very Valid" with a value obtained by the validator of 4.61. The validation results from media validators are categorized as "Very Valid" with an average validator I of 4.60 and an average of validator II of 4.53. Furthermore, the practice test of audio-visual media products is0included0in0the "Very Practical" category with an average of 4.75 out of a maximum of 5.00. Therefore, from the0results0of0the0validity0test and practicality test, it0can be0concluded0that the audio visual media0product using the0Adobe Premiere CC 2017 application is suitable for use in Indonesian class VII SMP subjects.
