Abstract
The development of learning weblogs on social studies subjects for class VII SMP is based on the background of problems during the learning process, namely the lack of time in class in the learning process, teachers have not used learning media that use technology, and learning resources used in learning are textbooks and worksheets. Student. The existence of weblogs can be used as additional media in the learning process. The purpose of the research is to produce an appropriate learning weblog to be used in the learning process. The focus of this research is class VII with one sample of 32 students.
The type of survey used is research and development (Research and Development). This study worn the ADDIE model. Subjects included in this research are validity test subjects, practicality test subjects, and effectiveness test subjects. Instruments in collecting research data using a questionnaire, documentation and assessment format using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique is using qualitative and quantitative data.
The results showed that (1) The yield of the validity test got an average score of 4.9 with the "Very Valid" criteria to be used. (2) The yield of the practicality test got an average value of 4.51 with the criteria of "Very Practical". (3) The results of the effectiveness test obtained tcount of 15.51 and then checked t-table using t--table with df=N--1=32-1=31 with 0.05 then t-table is 2.039. So tcount is greater than ttable. Then there is a distintion among the yield of the pretest and posttest. So the development of learning weblogs on social studies subjects for class VII SMP is feasible to be used as additional media used in the lore process both at school and independently.
