Pengembangan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif Untuk Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas VIII di SMP

Abstract
Based on the problem found at SMPN 1 Padang Panjang in the science subject of class VIII, the students were less enthusiastic in participating in learning. This is because teachers have not used interesting learning media and used the lecture method in the learning process. Interactive multimedia can be used as an alternative to reduce problems in learning. This study aims to develop valid and practical learning media in accordance with the eligibility criteria for materials and media in science subjects for class VIII at SMPN 1 Padang Panjang.
This type of research is development research known as Research and Development (R&D). This study uses the ADDIE model. This model has 5 stages of development, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was conducted in the subject of Natural Sciences in semester 2. The product developed was assessed by 1 material expert, specifically Class VIII Natural Sciences teacher at SMPN 1 Padang Panjang and 2 media experts, specificaly lecturer in the Department of Educational Curriculum and Technology. The practicality test assessment was carried out by 15 students of class VIII.F SMPN 1 Padang Panjang. Testing is carried out in 2 ways, namely validity and practicality tests.
The product validity test results for the material aspect are in the "very valid" category with a value of 4.9, from a maximum value of 5, for the media aspect it is in the "very valid" category with values obtained from validator I of 4.9 and validator II of 5 out of a maximum value of 5. Furthermore, the product practicality test was conducted on 15 eighth grade students at SMPN 1 Padang Panjang. The results of the product practicality test that have been carried out are in the "very practical" category with a value of 4.52 out of a maximum value of 5. Thus the development of interactive multimedia learning for science subjects based on Adobe Animate is feasible to use in the learning process.
