PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS POWTOON PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA TERPADU UNTUK KELAS VIII DI SMP

Abstract
The development of learning media is carried out as an effort to solve student learning problems, this learning media can be used as an alternative to reduce problems in learning. This study aims to produce a product for class VIII science subjects that is valid, practical and feasible to use.
This type of research is development research known as Research and Development (R&D), using a 4-D development model. The development procedure in this study consists of 4 stages, namely: (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Disseminate. The product validity test was carried out by 3 validators, namely 1 material expert validator and 2 media expert validators. The pre-quality test was conducted on 10 students of class VIII1 at SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman.
The development of learning video media using the Powtoon application in Integrated Science subjects for class VIII in SMP has been carried out in accordance with the development procedure that produces learning media. This product has gone through the validation stage. Based on the results of the material validation assessment from the science teacher at SMP 4 Pariaman and media validation, namely the Curriculum and Education Technology lecturer, the validation results from two media experts have been categorized as "valid". While the final validation results from material experts have been categorized as "Very valid". On the results of the pre-quality test of learning media products in the "Very Practical" category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the learning video media using the Powtoon application in science subjects is declared valid, practical and feasible to use.
