Pengembangan Manajemen Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Di Universitas Dharmas Indonesia

Abstract

This article aims to measure the validity and practicality of library information systems in their application at the University of Dharmas Indonesia. The development of this digital library uses the SLiMS Cendana 7 and XAMPP applications. This study took place at Dharmas Indonesia University which was held for a period of one month with two validators, one media validator who was a lecturer in the Curriculum and Educational Technology Department and one library expert validator namely a library officer in the Library of Education, Padang State University and tested on 3 librarians and 15 members of the Indonesian Dharmas University library. Data collection uses a questionnaire instrument that is filled in by each respondent. The results of data analysis show that the development of digital library applications has a media validity level of 4.55 and the validity of the material is 4.6 and the level of practicality with librarian respondents is 4.88 and the respondents have a value of 4.4. Thus the development of digital library applications can be categorized as very valid and very practical.
