Abstract
Class VII IPA subjects when the learning process still uses simple media. The media used in the form of textbooks such as student worksheets, textbooks, and teaching aids so that students' interest during learning is reduced. there is no use of interactive media during the learning process which can attract students' interest in learning due to the lack of variations in learning media. This research was conducted with the aim of producing a product in the form of interactive multimedia whose final result was in the form of a valid and practical interactive CD / DVD in accordance with the eligibility criteria for material and media in science class VII class at SMP Negeri 6 Padang. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) type of research using the Borg and Gall model. The development stages are in the form of planning stage, initial product development, product validation, media feasibility testing, final product. The product of this development was assessed by 1 material expert validator and 2 media expert validator and the product practicality test was carried out on 10 grade VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Padang. Based on the results of the questionnaire assessment by material expert validators, the results were 4.75 in the Very Valid category. Furthermore, the results of the validator 1 by media experts were 4.92 in the Very Valid category. The assessment of the validator questionnaire by 2 media experts obtained results of 4.92 in the Very Valid category, as well as the value of the practicality of the media obtained by an average of 4.68 in the Very Practical category. So it can be concluded that Interactive multimedia Using Lectora Inspire17 in Class VII Science Subjects.
