Abstract

Graphic Design is a discipline that must be followed by all students of the Curriculum and Educational Technology Department in the second semester. Based on observations, it was found that there was no e-module based multimedia development that could be a supplement or addition used in the learning process. The purpose of this research and development is to produce multimedia based e-module Graphic Design that is feasible and practical so that it can be used independently by students anytime and anywhere. This research is a research and development (R&D) using the 4D development type, while the stages are divided into 4, namely, define, design, development, and disseminate. The product validity test was assessed by 2 experts, namely 1 content expert and 1 media expert along with 10 students to test the practicality of the product. The instruments used were questionnaires and documentation. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the multimedia based e-module Graphic Design produced was valid and practical, referring to the results of the content validator test with an average of 4.9 and a validity value of 97.98% with the category "very valid"; the media validator assessment with an average of 4.5 and a validity value of 90% in the "very valid" category and the practicality value with an average of 4.5 and a practicality value of 90.94% with the "very practical" category.
