Abstract
Activities and the acquisition of low learning outcomes are influenced by several problems during the learning process, namely the teacher is more active than students. Students seem less enthusiastic, chatting, doing activities that are not related to learning activities and feedback between teachers and students is less effective. The study was conducted with the aim of knowing the contribution of learning with the TSTS cooperative learning model to increasing activity and the acquisition of student learning outcomes in Islamic Education lessons. In this study using literature study and the type of data is secondary data. Data collection techniques by studying and analyzing books and journals based on literature principles related to the TSTS model. The analysis technique is qualitative analysis. The results showed that the TSTS type of cooperative learning model was effective for increasing student activity, teamwork in groups, confidence, high responsibility, daring to express ideas to share information with others so that doing so would contribute to increasing student activity. and learning outcomes.
