Abstract

Based on the low learning outcomes of grade VII students in the Information and Communication Technology Guidance subject in SMP. Through the results of field observations, namely the lack of student interest in paying attention to the teacher explaining the material, the lack of focus of students on the teacher's explanation while learning, and the limited teaching time on the subject of information and communication technology guidance. The research objective was to determine the application of the Peer Tutor Learning Method to the learning outcomes of class VII students in the Information & Communication Technology Guidance Subject in SMP. This study uses a literature study research method that examines 20 journals relevant to the author's research. The results obtained are: 1). The results showed that the application of the peer tutor learning method had an effect on student learning outcomes as seen from the review of 10 journals (quantitative research) and also the increase in student learning outcomes based on the review of 10 classroom action research journals. 2). Shows the correlation between the application of the peer tutor method to student learning outcomes in the Class VII Information & Communication Technology Guidance subject at SMP. Based on the results of reviewing 20 journals which are classroom action research and quantitative research.
