PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS FLIPBOOK UNTUK MATA PELAJARAN IPA KELAS VIII SMP

Abstract

The research objective is to produce electronic teaching materials developed with the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application which will be used and utilized in the field of Natural Sciences study at Class VIII Middle School.

Research and Development (R&D) research uses a model proposed by Borg and Gall with stages that have been modified into stages (1) planning (2) product development (3) product validation (4) product improvement (5) product trials. the product of this development was assessed by 1 material expert validator and 2 media expert validators and a practicality test was carried out on 5 grade VIII students of SMP N 6 PARIAMAN. Retrieval of data by means of documentation and questionnaires.The results of the analysis show that flipbook-based teaching materials for natural science subjects developed as a whole are feasible both in terms of media, material and practical aspects with some revisions. This is shown by the validation of the material expert's score of 4.5 which is categorized as "valid"; the acquisition of values ​​from validator media 1 with a score of 4.8 and from media validator 2 with a score of 4.3 which is categorized as "valid", as well as practicality scores from students with a score of 4.3 which is categorized as "practical". Then you can say this electronic book can be used.
