Abstract

Based on the problem in MTsN 03, Padang Pariaman Regency, in the Grade VII students of IPS Social Sciences is still low. The teaching and learning process is still the teacher center and the learning model is less varied.


This study is to see the effect of the type of cooperative learning learning model using a video-assisted Immatch on Student Learning Outcomes in social studies class VII in MTsN 03, Padang Pariaman Regency. This research method is quantitative in the form of experiment. All students of class VII MTsN 03, Padang Pariaman Regency in the 2019/2020 school year are populations. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique, Class VII. 4 classes namely experiment I and class VII.5 namely control classes, each numbering 34 students. In this study data collection using objective tests of 40 items and data collection tools in the form of test sheets. The type of research data in the form of student learning outcomes data and data sources are student grades. Data were analyzed using t test.


The average grade of experiment class that applied the learning model makeIa Imatch type 80,735 video assisted high than from the average value of class control 68,824. Based on the Calculation of Test This is obtained by Counting 6.0674 while the Table of Test of 0.05 is 2,000. If seen, the t-count is greater than the table that is 6.0674> 2,000. The cooperative learning model learning model II type II match video assistance significantly has an influence on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects.
